What's Not Covered.
To ensure the longevity of your installation, standard exclusions apply per industry standards. Our warranty focuses on manufacturing and installation failures.
Maintenance Guideline
Avoid pressure washing the edges of the film and do not use harsh chemical solvents to keep your coverage valid.
Accidents & Collision
Physical body repairs and paintwork are claimed under your vehicle's motor insurance. NanoShieldX covers the subsequent re-application of the PPF on those repaired panels.
Non-Certified Installation
Failures resulting from application by unauthorized technicians or dealerships outside the certified NanoShieldX network.
Third-Party Modifications
Use of abrasive coatings, modifications, aftermarket polishes, or film removal attempted by unauthorized third parties.
Chemical Cleaners & Solvents
Degradation caused by acidic cleaners, industrial solvents, or high-pressure washers held too close to the film edges.
Pre-Existing Paint Issues
Paint peeling or clear coat delamination occurring during film removal if the paint was non-factory or damaged beforehand.
Consequential Wear
Indirect damages, loss of vehicle use, time, or clean-up costs that fall beyond direct film and surface re-application.

Every NanoShieldX installation is registered under an underwritten insurance policy. If the film fails within warranty due to a covered condition, we replace it — and the insurer reimburses installation costs. You pay nothing.
